Brandon Myers is a born and raised 2^nd generation Kitsap native. A product of Central Kitsap School District and Olympic College. Brandon is a Detective Sergeant with the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, bringing more than two decades of dedicated service to the Kitsap County community. He began his law enforcement career at the age of 17 as an Explorer Cadet and has since served in a wide range of roles, including Reserve Deputy, 911 Dispatcher, Patrol Deputy, Patrol Sergeant, and Support Services Sergeant. His experience spans patrol operations, crisis intervention, field training, academy instruction, strategic planning, and oversight of critical support functions such as records and civil services. He currently serves as Detective Sergeant, where he currently supervises complex criminal investigations and investigative personnel.

Throughout his career, Brandon has demonstrated a strong commitment to professionalism, accountability, and community trust. He has completed advanced training in homicide investigations, crime scene photography and processing, and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigations, and serves as a lead investigator on the Independent Investigations Team for officer-involved incidents. Known for his collaborative leadership style and focus on mentoring, he is deeply invested in developing the next generation of law enforcement professionals while maintaining high standards of service, transparency, and public safety.

Outside of law enforcement, Brandon is actively involved in community leadership and civic engagement throughout Kitsap County. He serves as the Board President with Central Stage Theatre of County Kitsap (CSTOCK) which he has been doing for  over 25 years. He recently completed 8 years as an appointed member of the Central Kitsap Community Council where he served as both chair and vice chair. Recently he joined the Board of Directors for Leadership Kitsap. His community involvement reflects a long-standing belief that effective public service is rooted in local partnerships, active listening, and a deep understanding of the communities served.

Brandon is the recipient of the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy award for Supervision, Command and Executive Leadership. He was awarded the Kitsap County 20 under 40 and the world wide award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police 40 under 40. Brandon is a graduate from Leadership Kitsap Class of 2024.
